At 14:00 on March 15, 2015, organized by Chongqing Changjiang Contemporary Art Museum “The First Edition of Changjiang International Photography &Video Biennale” launched a press conference at Qinyuan Hall, on the 11th floor of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
Zou Ling, Director of Chongqing Changjiang Contemporary Art Museum, curators Wang Qingsong and Francois Hebel (France), Christopher Phillips, Chief Curator of the International Center of Photography, as well as more than 30 well-known media personnel from all over the world attended the press conference.

Zou Ling, Director of Chongqing Changjiang Contemporary Art Museum, Executive Chairman of “The First Edition of Changjiang International Photography & Video Biennale” which is opening on April 26 finally addressed the opening ceremony, she expressed thanks for the hard work of the three curators and the artists, and Chongqing Changjiang Contemporary Art Museum made its debut in front of the world with this exhibition, in the future, the art museum will spare no effort in promoting a benign interaction between the domestic and foreign artists, art institutions, art activities, to bring the artists and the art lovers more feasts of art with full-bodied connotations.
“The First Edition of Changjiang International Photography & Video Biennale” which is opening on April 26 brings together the excellent works by more than 200 artists at home and abroad, covering America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa. It features works by the artists from more than 30 countries and regions including China, the United States, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, Indonesia, Russia, Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, etc. We can see the existential state of different countries and regions from the current globalization, as well as the humanistic spirit of the people living in different countries and regions. Through the juxtaposed display of the works, as well as the relationships between the wrestle and dialogue of the works, the viewer can see the rich and colorful humanistic feelings of the photographers and the charm of photos and videos.
